Jonathan is Chairman of the Board for Homes For Our Heroes. With over 25 years in the technology industry, Jonathan has strong communication, influencing, relationship-building, and leadership skills. He has an orientation toward customer service and solving customer problems where he can be strategic and forward-thinking.
The idea of HFOH came through Jonathan in July 2020 to help Veterans who are struggling to stay in their homes due to financial distress. He is passionate about not only assisting Veterans to remain in their homes but eager to help them develop the necessary skills to move from financial risk to financial stability.
As a graduate of the State University of NY at Oneonta with a major in accounting and finance, this degree, paired with his management and operational proficiency, allow an ideal opportunity to succeed in his passion for launching Homes for Our Heroes.
In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys fishing, golfing, and watching his kids play soccer.
Military: David started his military career in the United States Marine Corps in July of 1988. During his eleven years, he served in many different areas and jobs and is a veteran of the Gulf War in 1991. From 1990 to 1991, he had the honor and privilege of serving under Major General Livingston, Medal of Honor recipient, as his driver and enlisted aide. David’s final years were spent as a Drill Instructor in Parris Island “making Marines”.
He made over 300 United States Marines and his time as a Drill Instructor were the most impactful and memorable. In January 2014, David rejoined the military as an Army Reservist and was attached to the 77th Sustainment Brigade, Fort Dix, New Jersey. In 2019 the unit was mobilized and David was deployed to serve as the Public Affairs officer for the brigade. During the deployment, David spent time in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Qatar and Kuwait. For his work and dedication during the deployment, David was awarded the Afghanistan Campaign Medal, NATO Meritorious Service Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal.
Civilian: After being honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant in 1999, David began his civilian career as a consultant for Merrill Lynch. He became a full-time employee in 2002, working in many different areas within the Marketing Department including, Technology Development, Publishing Content Management and Event Management. In 2005 he earned his Six Sigma Black Belt. In 1996 he was promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing and the National Marketing Representative for Merrill Lynch. David traveled across the country training financial advisors with creative techniques to help market and brand themselves. As a motivational speaker and Coach/Trainer for the 16,000 Financial Advisors at Merrill Lynch, David left his mark at Merrill Lynch and was presented the David Brady Award for his efforts.
In February 2011, David left Merrill Lynch and opened his own business, SirCoach. That same year he wrote and published the first of a series of Boot Camp Books, “Boot Camp for Financial Advisors”. To date, he has travelled to over 500 cities in 46 states as well as Finland, Sweden and the United Kingdom. In 2016 David rejoined the corporate world to continue to train sales professionals. He is currently a Director of Sales Enablement at IBM and works with sales professionals across the globe to coach and train them for rapid business growth.
David has always been focused on partnering with the community. In 2001 he joined the local Marine Corps League and quickly became part of the leadership team. David has also served on both the Freehold Township Zoning Board of Adjustments and Planning Board and was appointed as a Parks and Recreation Commissioner.
David also realized that the skills he learned making marines in Parris Island could be translated not only in the corporate world and local community, but also on the playing fields and in the classrooms. While coaching soccer, football and baseball, David completely redefined how coaches can inspire, lead, motivate and mentor young children. His coaching style was infectious as he was asked to share his teachings for the Rutgers Youth Sports Research Council, teaching three-hour coaching clinics across the state for 10 years.
For his efforts within his community, David was recognized as the Monmouth County Volunteer of the Year in 2006. During Veterans Day, David spends his time in the local schools raising awareness of the sacrifices made by veterans around the world and the value system we use to make difficult decisions. David currently resides in Freehold, New Jersey with his wife Andrea and their five children.
Dennis earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from Manhattan College in Business Administration and Finance. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center where he excelled, graduating Magna Cum Laude, a member of the Touro Law Review, a Pro Bono Scholar, and an inductee to the Touro Honors Program.
Prior to becoming an attorney, he owned and managed several international fashion design and manufacturing and companies for over 20 years, then went on to run a company for the not-for-profit Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County.Mr. McGrath has practiced law in the fields of education law, labor and employment, foreclosure defense, personal injury, civil litigation, and real estate transactions. He now focuses his practice on real estate matters, foreclosure defense, personal injury, and civil litigation.
Mr. McGrath is admitted to practice in the States of New York, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, and the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.Mr. McGrath was recently honored by Super Lawyers as a 2021 Rising Star in the legal profession. He sets himself apart from other attorneys by incorporating his wealth of business experience and interpersonal skills into his practice of law. Lloyd is the Executive Director at Carver’s Community Development Corporation (CCDC) with 20 years of banking, underwriting, portfolio management, and project management experience. Lloyd’s responsibilities include launching and managing CCDC’s small business microloan program, deepening the scope and impact of CCDC’s financial education programming, and further developing CCDC’s presence in the community through strategic partnerships and outreach.
Prior to joining Carver, Lloyd was a Relationship Manager at PNC responsible for over $60 million in loans and investments to stimulate economic activity in low-to-moderate income communities in Northern and Central NJ, and NY. Prior to joining PNC, Lloyd spent time working for nonprofit Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) as the Director of Lending at the Harlem Entrepreneurial Fund, Senior Business Development Associate at Nonprofit Finance Fund, manager of Loan Originations at TruFund Financial Services, Inc, and as the Portfolio Officer at Inclusiv. Before Lloyd’s career in Community Development Finance, he spent 8 years with JPMorgan Asset Management where he managed a $1 billion investment portfolio and traded corporate bonds for Fortune 500 clients. Lloyd graduated magna cum laude from Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. He also completed certificates from the National Development Council as an Economic Development Finance Professional and Project REAP’s commercial real estate training program.
Lloyd is active in community development and entrepreneurship through his real estate development company. He also volunteers as a Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens, serves as the Board Treasurer for Youth Justice Network in Harlem, and serves on a Diversity and Inclusion Board subcommittee for CentraState Healthcare Center, a local hospital in Monmouth County, NJ. Lloyd resides in Freehold, NJ with his wife of 16 years and three children.
Willis Saintil is an experienced Technical Account Manager with over 25 years of pre-sales, and customer experience, both from a business and a technical perspective in the information technology and services industry. Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara, Willis' vast technical experience as both a customer and vendor has played a significant role in is his success at EMC Corporation, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank AG, StorageNetworks, Chase Manhattan, and Bank of Montreal. He firmly believes in establishing a relationship/partnership in aligning customer requirements with solutions. His background includes selling and creating solutions with a successful track record focusing on customer problems, helping customers to reduce costs, and enhancing overall operational efficiency. His success is primarily due to his ability to listen and respond to customers’ needs to build a solution that fits.
He is a graduate of SUNY College at Buffalo and New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering, with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Master's of Science in Telecommunication and Information Management.
Willis lives in Princeton Junction, NJ with his wife Justina. They have two sons and one daughter. When not working, Willis likes to spend time with his kids, play golf/tennis and do volunteer/charitable work in the Trenton and Princeton area.
Joe is the Chief Architect & Real Estate Officer at Home for Our Heroes. He is a seasoned development and construction executive with a diversity of experience spanning over 25-years. He has acquired significant construction experience working in and around New York City as a Construction Manager, General Contractor, Owners Representative, and Owner/Developer. His experience ranges from ground-up developments including Multi-Use, Commercial, Hotel/Retail, Institutional and Residential buildings as well as construction projects for both Government and Municipal Agencies.
Proficient in Core & Shell as well as Building Envelope and Exterior Restoration work, he is a strong, detail-oriented leader who interacts effectively with project consultants while fostering a sense of partnership to successfully complete any project - working together with the design team and the various trade subcontractors to resolve issues and to ensure overall satisfaction. His experience as a licensed architect enables him to assist the team throughout all stages of a project.
He works hard to manage his direct team with effectiveness and efficiency while making certain to foster individual growth.
